You have 14 days from the day you receive your trade-in kit to prepare and return your device. You may be able to receive the trade-in kit with your iPhone purchase if you have an iPhone. It will be sent to you separately once your new product is available for pickup or delivery. Once we have received your trade-in we will inspect it and, if all is well, your trade in will be completed. If the condition of your device is not what you describe, we'll send you an email with the next steps. If your payment was in full, and your device's value exceeded the price of the new iPhone, an email will be sent with the Apple Gift Card.
AppleCare+ With Theft and Loss provides coverage for up to two thefts or losses every twelve months. Each incident will be subject to a service cost or deductible. Taxes could apply. Find My must be enabled on your device when it is lost or stolen in order to provide theft and loss coverage. You should keep Find My enabled, and your iPhone should still be associated with Apple ID during the loss or theft claim process. Disabling Find My can result in the loss and theft of all coverage. Participation in the iPhone Upgrade Program is not contingent on you purchasing AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss.
You can verify your status by going to the Apple Store and asking if you qualify for a new iPhone. If you are eligible for an upgrade, you have two options. You can either go online or visit an Apple Store and speak to a specialist. Upgrades can be made anytime after six month, provided you have made at most 12 payments. You can upgrade to a higher model if you're required to pay an additional amount for your 12 monthly payments. We will arrange to trade in the old iPhone for you as part the program. Please don't trade in the current iPhone via the standard Apple Trade In.
