A resounding yes, yes, yes. I had no idea that a $400 lump of plastic would have such a grip on me. However, it does. I have found that it creates huge volume. I use the round brush provided with the dryer (which I can use for curtain bangs), and one of their concentrator nozzles to style and add volume to my roots. Otherwise, my hair is left to dry naturally without any attachments. It always looks like it just came off the set of a movie.
