Dyson isn’t lying about Supersonic’s ability to make hair feel healthier. Dyson claims that Supersonic will reduce hair damage by upto 80%. However, I am not a hairstylist and cannot verify these claims. I do know the feeling of my hair after using a Dyson hair dryer (not deep fried) and when it feels straightened (fried).

I wanted to be able to quantify this so I measured the time of my last blowout. This experiment involved washing my hair, drying it on a towel for six minutes, then getting dressed. Finally, I blew my head out. It took me seven minutes to dry my hair using the Dyson dryer.

About 1.2 pounds. Although there are many hair dryers that weigh less than this one, Dyson claims that this hair dryer was "engineered to balance". I can feel it. The weight of the hair dryer is on top, so it doesn't weigh down my wrist and puts pressure on my wrist. It's also not heavy at the front.

My friend Amanda has curly 3B hair. I used it on her hair. The diffuser was used on Amanda's hair. I used all attachment settings except for the wide-tooth, which isn’t suitable for my hair. Please forgive me for not taking photos after I used the concentrated styler attachments and diffuser. My hair looked and felt great after using both attachment tools.
