When I finally bought my Dyson, it was an instant swoon (LOL). It's lightweight and sleek, unlike the bulky hair dryers I used, and it's easy to use. I have never seen a hair dryer like the Dyson. The heat controls of the Dyson are some of the most precise and effective I've seen. This technology also ensures that my hair is not damaged by heat too high. This part of my hair care routine is something I look forward to with the Dyson.

However, I ended using it only for two hair types: my own and one of my close friends. Although it is expensive at $400, the Dyson Supersonic hair dryer can be used to dry my curly, 28-inch hair in five minute intervals and causes less damage than a traditional dryer.

It came with three attachments when I purchased my Dyson Supersonic in 2018. It now comes with five attachments:

I was hooked. Dyson dryers dry hair much faster than others. The first time it was used, I used my phone's timer to record the time. The result? 1:40:11. It took me less that two minutes to dry the whole head. It takes longer to dry my hair than it does to make instant coffee. This alone was enough to make the Dyson worth my money. I am usually late, but I don’t worry if there is enough time to do my hair. I always have two minutes.

My only regret with the Dyson is not having bought it sooner. It's an investment but it has made my hair so much easier. The Dyson cuts down on drying time by 30 minutes. It is so time-savings that it is worth the investment. My journey to healthy hair began with avoiding heat damage. The Dyson ensures that my hair is protected from heat damage and dried quickly. It's no longer necessary to compromise my hair's health in order to not have wet hair all day. I love that.

It was the volume it added to my hair that made this hair dryer so worth it. I have very fine, straight hair. For my hair type, Dyson Supersonic creates big volume. The dryer comes with a round brush, which is great for curtain bangs. One of the concentrators nozzles style my bangs. I dry my hair naturally, without using any attachments. My hair always looks like it's just come off a set.

This dryer has been in my family for four years, and I have never cleaned it. Oops. Dyson suggests cleaning it once per month with a soft, dry towel.

My hair feels dry when I use blow dryers. My hair always looks frizzy and crunchy no matter what I do. This dryer has completely changed the way my hair feels after it's been dried. I used to hate blow drying my hair. I would bake my hair for longer periods of time to get it dry. Now? Because my hair will always look and feel healthy, I enjoy blow drying it.

My only regret with the Dyson is not having bought it sooner.

The Dyson Supersonic comes with three speeds (low-medium, high-speed) and four temperature settings. This includes a cold shot. The attachments include a diffuser, two nozzles for smoothing and one to concentrate air flow. This is great for styling bangs and blowouts. Since the Supersonic's release, Dyson has also released three other attachments: the Flyaway Attachment (for smoothing out flyaways), Wide Tooth Comb Attachment for curling curly hair and the Gentle Air Attachment (for controlling heat and diffusing it to protect fine hair types).
